Villa Fendi, the uber-contemporary Dilido Island mansion of fashion designer and speedboat racer Luca Fendi, sold for $14 million, a record sale for the Venetian Islands, the Coldwell Banker agents who represented the seller told The Real Deal.

The 8,030-square-foot manse at 1 East Dilido Dr. on the manmade island in Biscayne Bay originally listed for $14.9 million and “spared no expense,” according to the agents, Claudia Aros and Penelope Friedland. The home features six bedrooms include dual oversized master suites, one of which cantilevers above the infinity pool, a separate two-story, all-glass guest house, 132 feet of bay frontage and a boat dock.

The seller, grandson of Adele and Edoardo Fendi, who founded the family’s eponymous fashion house, purchased the 16,700-square-foot lot in March 2011 for $5.52 million, Miami-Dade County public records show.
