Three new tenants have signed for more than 12,000 square feet at the office tower known as 110 Tower in downtown Fort Lauderdale, according to a statement from the landlord’s broker today. The building, at 110 SE Sixth Street, is in the midst of a $15 million renovation, the statement said.

Law firm Cole, Scott & Kissane, P. A. signed for 6,500 square feet; tech firm EVault signed for 3,000, the statement from Transwestern’s Fort Lauderdale office said. Freedland Harwin, PL, another law firm, also leased approximately 3,000 feet.

“These leases signify growth and an absorption trend in the downtown Fort Lauderdale market, primarily by new-to-market tenants,” Laurel Oswald, senior vice president at Transwestern, said in the statement.

Transwestern represented the landlord in all three transactions. Jon Bourbeau and Patrick Duffy of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Cole in negotiations, while Scott Sheron of Jones Lang LaSalle repped Freedland Harwin. Brokers from Cresa Partners, whose names were not given in the release, represented EVault in their transaction. –Guelda Voien
