Miami International Airport will reveal its new, 400,000-square-foot, three-level North Terminal international arrivals facility July 31, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The $2.9 billion North Terminal is now one of the only U.S. airports with six dedicated lanes for Global Entry, which provides speedier processing for travelers who register with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. MIA is ranked number one for international flights in the U.S., with nearly 1,300 weekly flights to some 85 international destinations. The increasing international traffic through MIA’s North Terminal has recently caused a concessions sales boom, with tenants fighting for space. [SFBJ] — Christopher Cameron
