Brickell office towers are attracting many first-time users of Miami space, according to Miami Today.
“We are continuing to see interest from multinational and domestic companies that want to concentrate offices in Miami to access the whole region,” said Tere Blanca, principal of Blanca Commercial Real Estate, which has recently signed five new leases — with companies like H.J. Heinz Co, Longchamp USA, and private equity firm MDR American — totaling 19,500 square feet at 1450 Brickell.
Two U.K-based tenants also recently signed for space at 1221 Brickell Avenue for their first foray into the Miami market.
In the fourth quarter, high-tech management firm Isaac Daniel Group took space in 999 Brickell and Interpublic Group and Blueprint Creative Group each took their first office space in the area at 800 Brickell.
Finally, Mobile Financial Services, a joint venture between Telefonica and Mastercard, is taking its first permenant space at 701 Brickell according to Diana Parker, a senior vice presdient at CBRE.
“Miami is hot, hot, hot, because as goes Latin America, so goes Miami’s office market,” she said. [Miami Today]
