  • Shana and Emila Tavangarian, daughters of spec developer Ardie Tavangarian, have joined Carolwood Estates from the Beverly Hills Estates.
  • They are bringing a $177 million co-listing for Villa Siena to Carolwood.
  • The Tavangarian team has closed over $300 million in deals since 2021 and brings over $200 million in inventory to Carolwood.

Carolwood Estates landed the Tavangarian team, with the daughters of the famed spec developer bringing a $177 million co-listing to the Beverly Hills brokerage.

The move from the Beverly Hills Estates by Shana Tavangarian and Emila Tavangarian, along with their marketing and operations manager Harriet Laveau, was confirmed this week by Carolwood.

The brokerage declined to further comment on its most recent get. The move comes on the heels of Carolwood’s addition last month of Mick Partridge’s team, also previously with the Beverly Hills Estates.

The Beverly Hills Estates did not respond to a request for comment on the Tavangarians.

The team is relatively new in the residential business and began selling real estate in 2021. Since that time, they’ve closed more than $300 million in deals, according to Carolwood. They bring inventory in excess of $200 million to their new firm, with the largest chunk of that being the $177 million Villa Siena. Shana and Emila will continue to share the listing with the Beverly Hills Estates’ Branden and Rayni Williams.

Villa Siena, located at 607 Siena Way, was designed by the Tavangarians’ father, Ardie Tavangarian of Los Angeles architecture and building firm Arya Group.

The Bel-Air spec mansion spans eight bedrooms and 25 bathrooms across 35,000 square feet, sitting above the Bel-Air Country Club. Highlights include a four-story floating staircase, spa, primary suite with a retractable roof, screening room and 12,000 square feet of rooftop space.

Topping out Shana and Emila’s closings is the $83 million trade of 1601 San Onofre in the Pacific Palisades in 2021. The Tavangarians represented their father in the 2021 sale of the property, which he developed. It was sold to tech entrepreneur Austin Russell. The famous estate was used to film shows such as HBO’s “Succession” and Apple TV Plus’s “The Morning Show.”

The pair, along with the Williamses, also represented former Los Angeles Rams player Clay Matthews in the $20 million sale of 25314 Prado de la Felicidad, which is located in Calabasas’ Estates at the Oaks double-gated community. Matthews and his wife completed development of the seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom home in 2020.
