After two years of trying to sell his 20-acre Beverly Crest estate for $88 million, Drake has hung a “For Rent” sign. The asking: $250,000 a month.
The Canadian rapper, whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham, wants to rent out his 24,200-square-foot mansion at 9904 Kip Drive, according to the Robb Report.
Drake bought the 10-bedroom, 22-bathroom mansion in spring 2022 for $75 million, then almost immediately hoisted a “For Sale” sign for $88 million, before delisting and listing it again.
Brokers Branden and Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates and Marc Bretter of Maywood Property Group share the listing.
The Tuscan-style home, high in the hills above Benedict Canyon and surrounded by mature oak and olive trees, was built in 2001 for Guess co-founder Armand Marciano.
Highlights of the estate include a double-height foyer with a grand staircase, a living room with two fireplaces, wine cellar, gym, an elevator, a kitchen with dual islands and an upstairs master bedroom with a view of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean.
There’s a guest house, outdoor kitchen, a “hidden” orchard and a guest house with a mosaic-tiled swimming pool.
The property comes with an 11-car garage and a motor court with room for a dozen more vehicles.
The rapper known for “Hold on, We’re Going Home” spends much of his time in his hometown of Toronto, where he owns a 50,000-square-foot mansion in the tony Bridle Path neighborhood.
Drake is an active trader in real estate.
In April 2022, he sold two homes in Hidden Hills to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford for $11 million.
The houses are next door to a 12,500-square-foot home that Drake also owns at 5841 Round Meadow Road, dubbed his YOLO estate, which he listed at the same time for $14.8 million.
