Inari Medical has leased a 27,000-square-foot office space near its Irvine headquarters.
The medical device maker inked a sublease deal at the three-story office building owned by the Irvine Company at 510 Technology Drive in Irvine’s Discovery Park, the Orange County Business Journal reported.
Terms of the sublease from device maker Vyaire Medical were not disclosed. Vyaire had listed the entire mid-rise building for sublease earlier this year, according to marketing materials. Its lease was slated to run through November 2028.
The Chicago-based company looks unlikely to keep that lease until the end of the term, according to court documents. The firm filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June.
The company’s sublease with Inari was struck prior to its bankruptcy filing and is due to begin in September, according to CoStar Group.
Inari’s new offices are less than a mile from its 130,000-square-foot headquarters at 6001 Oak Canyon, in the Spectrum area, also owned by the Irvine Company.
