Jamie Duran has left Christie’s International Real Estate AKG, just three months after joining the brokerage, The Real Deal has learned.

“Jamie Duran is such a force in real estate, but ultimately, our visions did not coincide,” Aaron Kirman, the founder of AKG, said in a statement. “We wish her all the best in her next chapter.”

Duran did not respond to a request for comment.

Duran jumped to the brokerage — a partnership between Christie’s and star broker Kirman with his team — in March. Before that, she was the Southern California lead for Coldwell Banker, until CEO Kamini Lane eliminated the role last year and tapped Northern California lead Jennifer Lind to serve as the brokerage’s Western regional president.

She was hired by Kirman to help open seven offices across Southern California, including outposts in Newport Beach, Del Mar, Calabasas, Sherman Oaks, Montecito, Pasadena and Palm Springs. Currently, AKG is based in Beverly Hills with offices in Encino and Santa Barbara, according to its website.

In a statement at the time, Duran said she was focused on attracting “the best agents” and would “leverage the exposure to Christie’s auction house.”

On her LinkedIn profile, Duran says she’s the CEO and president of Three Waves Global LLC. Business records show the LLC is tied to Duran, though the entity’s purpose is unclear.

Duran worked more than 30 years at Coldwell. In her final position, she managed more than 4,500 agents and 200 employees in 58 offices, according to an interview with The Real Deal.
