An affiliate of energy drinkmaker Monster Beverage Corp. has acquired an under-construction warehouse in the San Fernando Valley.
American Fruits & Flavors of Pacoima paid $33.7 million for the 168,676-square-foot industrial building, county records show. The property is located at 510 Park Ave. in San Fernando.
The seller is Overton Moore Properties, which has developed and still owns a number of industrial properties around Southern California. The Gardena-based company did not immediately comment on the sale.
American Fruits & Flavors did not return a call for comment. The company was sold to Corona-based Monster for $690 million in 2016.
Overton Moore specializes in industrial, self-storage and office properties, and is also active in Arizona, Utah and Nevada. Earlier this month, the company said construction would begin on Avion Burbank business park, an 18-building, 1.25 million-square-foot office, retail and hotel complex at 3001 N. Hollywood Way.
