A five-story mixed-use building could be coming to a corner on Gateway Boulevard on the edge of Mar Vista.
The 73-unit residential development at 11701 W. Gateway Boulevard would replace a two-story shopping center, according to city documents first reported on by Urbanize.
The project would include roughly 5,400 square feet of commercial area, 82 parking spaces and 69 bicycle stalls. Half a dozen units will be set aside for “very low-income” renters.
Camdaily LLC is listed as the developer and owner of the property. Two individuals — Bob Halavi and Mayer Makebeh — are associated with the property via the LLC. Camdaily purchased the nearly 20,000-square-foot lot for $4.6 million in February 2017, according to real estate data tracker Real Capital Analytics.
In exchange for the affordable housing units, Camdaily is seeking a height bonus and an increase in floor area ratio.
