Watch out, WeWork — there’s another coworking company eating up space in Southern California.

Global workplace provider Spaces, an affiliate of Regus, has signed a lease for 33,400 square feet at the City National Plaza at 515 S. Flower Street in Downtown Los Angeles, The Real Deal has learned.

The deal marks the fifth Los Angeles location for the company and its second in Downtown, according to the company’s website.

Spaces will occupy both the 18th and 19th floors at the 52-story North Tower by March 2018, a representative for the company confirmed. Sources said Regus will move out of its existing office on the 36th floor by next spring and consolidate with Spaces on the lower floors.

The City National Plaza, owned by Commonwealth Partners, spans roughly 2.4 million square feet across two twin skyscrapers. Other tenants at the complex include commercial brokerage CBRE, City National Bank, international law firm Paul Hastings and Colony NorthStar.

European-based Spaces offers shared work spaces, private meeting rooms and private offices to clients. It already has locations in Santa Monica, the Row DTLA and Fairfax, and it is planning to open a Culver City outpost in February 2018.
