This boutique hotelier will expand in Westwood and Culver City

The operation led by Avi Brosh will take shape in Grifka Group's Culver hotel

The boutique hotel chain is planning to add not one, but two Los Angeles outposts by next year with the addition of Palihotel Westwood Village and a location in Downtown Culver City, Curbed reported.

In Westwood, the company will repurpose the former Claremont Hotel into a 55-key hotel that will be a “a mix of mid-century modern with Parisian eclecticism set in a historic building.” The property on Tiverton Avenue sold to Shamina Investments for $12.25 million earlier this year. It’s set to open in summer 2018.

Over in Downtown Culver City, a 49-room Palihotel will shape up at Grifka Group‘s 3927 Van Buren Place. A restaurant and bar will sit on the property, which is expected to be “modern and urban with bohemian, French influences throughout.” Grifka Group purchased the site in 2016 for $8.25 million. That will open in fall 2018.

Paligroup, led by Avi Brosh, already operates three locations in SoCal – Palihouses (its luxury brand) can be found in West Hollywood and Santa Monica while a Palihotel (its more affordable option) sits on Melrose.
