A new project could be headed to North Hollywood.
Plans filed on Tuesday call for a mixed-use development at 10821 W. Magnolia Boulevard, Urbanize reported. The development would include a five-story structure that would house 40 apartments situated above retail space at street level and two levels of underground parking.
The project would replace a vacant 5,520-square-foot lot. It last traded for $102,000 in 2015, property records show.
Lili and Hamid Hamidi are listed as the applicants.
North Hollywood has been on the come up recently, as evidenced by Summerland Partners Group’s plan for a 60-unit complex filed in May.
Another mixed-use project, dubbed Lankershim + Otsego, is already underway and slated to deliver 297 apartments, as well as a 365 by Whole Foods. [Urbanize] – Natalie Hoberman
