Hoteliers are still hot for Koreatown.

Koreatown restaurateur Chul Heay Shin submitted plans to include a collection of restaurants and bars at his 200-room hotel redevelopment at the site of a mid-century office building on Olympic Boulevard, records show.

The project would include a 600-square-foot lounge, a 132-seat ground-floor restaurant, a 60-seat rooftop restaurant and a separate rooftop bar with 76 seats.

Plans for the project were first filed in December. It wasn’t immediately clear if an operator had been tapped for the restaurant spaces.

Shin, who is also building a 16-story hotel and condo tower on the corner of Sixth Street and Hobart Boulevard in Koreatown, acquired the building at 1543 W. Olympic Boulevard for $25 million last September, property records show.

The hotel spree continues in nearby downtown.

Earlier this month, Jon Blanchard of BLVD745 formally filed plans for a 315-room hotel on the block bound by S. Spring Street, South Broadway, W. 4th Street, and W. 3rd Street.

The boutique developer, known for his work at the Ace Hotel and the Soho House warehouse, previously said he was launching a new budget-hotel brand called Roadhouse + Junction.
