Updated, July 5, 2016, 10:19 a.m.: This week’s most eye-popping renderings include an image of Mitsui Fudosan America‘s Eighth & Figueroa, a proposed 43-story mixed-use tower in Downtown Los Angeles with 436 residential units and 11,000 square feet of retail space. MFA has owned the site at 732 South Figueroa Street for almost three decades, according to Urbanize, and tried to develop it into a high-rise hotel during the early 1990s.
An image of Colorado-based developer NMS Properties‘ Wilshire & La Jolla tower at 6401 Wilshire Boulevard reveals plans for the 15-story development just outside the Miracle Mile. The development, proposed on a surface parking lot, would include 90 luxury apartments and 5,100 square feet of retail space. It is being designed by Steinberg Architects. — Hannah Miet
Correction: This article has been updated to reflect that NMS, not UDR, is developing Wilshire & La Jolla.
