Renderings have been released for Jade Enterprises’ new gem — Emerald, a mixed-use complex to be constructed at 1340 South Olive Street in Downtown Los Angeles.
MVE + Partners, the architecture firm designing the development, just published the renderings for the residential and retail project on the east side of South Park, Urbanize reported.
They lay out a vision for a seven-story structure with 154 apartments and 10,000 square feet of commercial space that would replace what is now a .67-acre parking lot. The renderings show an L-shaped building with underground parking and a rooftop deck with a swimming pool.
Jade Enterprises, a prolific L.A.-based landlord, has multiple ongoing projects in DTLA, including similar mixed-use complexes named Sapphire, Onyx and Topaz. Earlier this year, the company bought five office buildings on the Westside for $158.8 million. [Urbanize] — Cathaleen Chen
