This dataset examines office sales in Manhattan over the three and a half years leading up to the second quarter of 2024.The Real Deal analyzed sales of office buildings and properties with a major office component worth $1 million or more in Manhattan recorded in the city’s ACRIS property transaction database from the start of 2021 through the second quarter of this year, identifying 235 transactions totalling nearly $19 billion in volume.
The dataset includes Manhattan’s deal volume for the period compared to other boroughs, an analysis of which Manhattan neighborhoods saw the most transaction volume, a ranking of the top 10 deals for the study period, an analysis of the building types in the sample, and extensive data on all 235 transactions included in the study.
