Here are the priciest resi sales in Chicago this week

The $11.4M total for the top 5 properties was a slight uptick from the previous week despite the worsening coronavirus crisis

Chicago’s luxury residential sales market saw a slight uptick this week despite the deepening coronavirus crisis.

The top five home sales tallied $11.4 million, up from the previous week’s $10 million total. The properties consisted of two houses, two condos and one townhome.

The priciest home this week closed for $3.4 million in Lincoln Park. It was one of three houses in Lincoln Park to crack the top five. Also on the list are two Lakeview homes, including a six-bedroom residence that sold for just under $3 million.

Price and property details were found on Redfin, from March 23-27.

854 W. Webster Ave. | $3.4M | Lincoln Park

This 4,600-square-foot home was recently renovated and boasts a large garden out back with an outdoor living space and waterfall. The home has four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a two-car garage. It was listed by Joanne Nemerovski with Compass. Millie Rosenbloom of Baird & Warner represented the buyer.

4137 N. Paulina St. | $3M | Lakeview

This six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home encompasses 6,800 square feet. It was built in 2018 and includes an outdoor living space. It was listed by Jeff Lowe with Compass. Lindsay Everest with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago represented the buyer.

1630 W. Surf St. | $2M | Lakeview

This 7,000-square-foot townhouse was built in 2008. It previously sold for $1.5 million in 2012. The home includes five bedrooms and six bathrooms. It was listed by Craig Isacson with @properties. Laura Henrikson with @properties represented the buyers.

1833 N. Sedgwick St. Unit 1 | $1.5M | Lincoln Park

This 4,000-square-foot condo sold to its first owner. The four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom unit was completed last year and is sound proof. It was listed with Compass’ Jeff Lowe. Molly Johnson of @properties represented the buyer.

This Lincoln Park condo sold on March 24 for $1.48 million. The unit has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a private rooftop deck. It was listed with Richard DiVito of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago. Daniel Glick of @properties represented the buyer.
