Here are the priciest resi sales in Chicago this week

The three condos and two single family homes sold for a combined $13 million

Two single family homes and three condos all on the North Side were involved in the biggest home sales this week. All of them sold for more than $1.5 million.

The priciest home is a gargantuan house in Lakeview, which sold for more than $4.3 million. Another home in the neighborhood made the list at $1.7 million.

The three other priciest homes are all condos on the Near North Side, ranging in price from $3.3 million down to $1.6 million.

In all, this week’s five most expensive homes sold for a combined $13 million.

2856 N. Hermitage Ave. | $4.3 million | Lakeview
Apparently Lakeview has actual mansions, since this five-bedroom, eight-bath single family home near the Chicago River sold for more than $4.3 million on Dec. 11. The house features an indoor basketball court, library, penthouse, elevator and a big outdoor space overlooking a park. It previously sold for over $3.6 million in July 2011. The listing agent was Nancy Tassone of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty and the buying agent was Lisa Resek-Peck of @properties.

676 N. Kingsbury St., Ph 03 | $3.3 million | Near North Side
This tri-level penthouse condo on the sixth floor of the Ronsley building in River North closed for more than $3.3 million on Dec. 12. Its four bedrooms, five bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and more occupy almost 4,300 square feet in the 41-unit condo conversion of an industrial property near the Chicago River. Michael Battista of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing. The buyer was represented by Edward Skae @properties.

159 E. Walton Pl., Unit 15A | $2 milion | Near North Side
Overlooking Lake Michigan on the 15th floor of the Palmolive Building, formerly the headquarters for headquarters of the Colgate-Palmolive and Playboy, this three-bedroom, 3.5 bath condo sold Dec. 10 for $2 million, slightly under the September listing price. It previously sold for over $2.3 million in August 2015. Emily Sachs Wong of @properties represented the seller and Kathleen Malone of @properties represented the buyer.

3625 N. Bosworth Ave. | $1.7 million | Lakeview
This newly constructed single family home with six bedrooms and six bathrooms sold for more than $1.7 million on Dec. 11. It has a spacious patio and deck over the two-car heated garage. It was listed by Thomas Moran by @properties and bought with Julie Busby of Compass.

415 E. North Water St., #2101 | $1.6 million | Near North Side
On Dec. 11, this duplex on the 21st floor of the River West condo building near Navy Pier sold for just over $1.6 million. It offers three bedrooms, all on the second floor, 2.5 baths, a recently renovated kitchen and two balconies. The condo has increased in value some since it last sold for $1.5 million in August 2014. Deborah Ryder of American International Realty had the listing. The buyer was represented by Caroline Druker of Baird & Warner.
