Sterling Bay is set to unveil plans to develop another two office buildings in Fulton Market, adding nearly 750,000 square feet of combined space to the booming commercial district.

The development firm — which is building the Lincoln Yards megaproject — will propose an 18-story office tower at the site of the Pioneer Wholesale Meat warehouse at 1000 West Carroll Avenue, according to Block Club Chicago. Sterling Bay paid about $20 million to acquire the site last year. The new building would total 536,000 square feet.

The other construction would rise 11 stories tall across the street at 345 North Morgan Avenue, creating about 212,000 square feet of new space. Sterling Bay had previously proposed a movie theater and parking garage on the site.

Both properties are adjacent to the 1K Fulton office complex, which Sterling Bay redeveloped into Google’s Midwest headquarters in 2012, helping set off a land rush in the neighborhood. The developer later completed new office buildings at 1330 West Fulton Street, 110 North Carpenter Street and 210 North Carpenter.

And Sterling Bay last year started building a 19-story office complex at 333 North Green Street, one of three properties it plans on the former campus of Coyne College.
