No. 9 Walton, which has drawn celebrities and titans of industry, recorded another big-ticket condo sale this week.
The latest deal at the Gold Coast tower was an $11.3 million purchase of a 31st-floor unit, according to the Chicago Tribune. The sale of the four-bedroom, 7,100-square-foot condo is the most expensive Chicago-area residential deal so far this year, according to the report.
Public records don’t yet identify the buyer. While some owners have already started flipping their units in JDL Development’s tower, this unit was bought directly from the developer.
Natasha Motev of Jameson Sotheby International Realty represented the buyer, while Jameson Sotheby’s Nancy Tassone is the building’s listing agent.
The buyer joins an impressive list of residents in the 38-story building, including a number of executives, high-profile attorneys and professional athletes.
