Michael Knott joined EQ Office as chief financial officer. Knott spent the last 16 years at Green Street Advisors, most recently as managing director. Among his new duties will be to further EQ Office’s technology initiatives around predictive analytics.
HFF added Stella Pappas as a director. She joins HFF from Allstate Investments where she worked for eight years in their real estate private equity group.
Dave Brown joined CBRE to lead its retail specialty leasing and alternative revenue practice. The 25-year veteran will be a senior vice president based in Chicago. He most recently was president of Covington Realty Partners.
Essex Realty Group named Brian Kochendorfer managing director. He arranged the sale of more than $140 million in transactions and 1,300 units since joining Essex in 2014. The firm also named Hayley Rawers a director.
Skender hired Peter Murray as president of Skender Manufacturing. Murray will lead the new division that will produce modular building components for multifamily, healthcare and commercial buildings in Chicago. He has more than 20 years of manufacturing, operations and commercial experience.
Clear Height Properties hired Jason Pammler as managing director of project and development services. The 15-year industry veteran will lead the firm’s internal and third-party initiative. Clear Height also recently added 15-year industry veteran Gary Rose as managing director of asset management and acquisitions.
Principle Construction hired 33-year industry veteran Phil VanDuyne as director of pre-construction services. VanDuyne previously was a capital project consultant and owner’s representative for Simpson Strong-Tie in West Chicago. Principle also hired Matthew Cotherman as a project manager.
Real estate investment and property management company The Laramar Group hired Jeanne Schwab and Stacy Valentine as senior vice presidents of operations. Schwab, a 20-year industry veteran, returns to Laramar after positions at Forum Real Estate. Valentine, also a 20-year veteran, most recently worked at Forum.
